We're doing some good stuff around our office too. We aren't perfect, but we are definitely working to reduce our impact. The idea centers around a phrase we've all heard before: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Here's how we're putting those words into action.

Here are a couple of examples of how we're working to reduce our impact:

• We set the default on our printer to print double-sided. Half the paper is twice as nice for the environment!
  
• If it's not being used, then turn it off. This goes for lights, computers, monitors, etc.
  

We're also on a mission to reuse what we can around the office:

• We encourage the use of washable mugs and bottles in place of disposable ones whenever possible.
  
• We strive to buy recycled paper products for use around the office.
  
• If we find a piece of paper that's been printed single-sided, the empty side becomes scratch paper.
  

Beyond this, we recycle what we can:

• We recycle our office papers and cardboard.
  
• We've also created a bin for plastic bags in our break room. That way, if someone happens to bring their lunch in one, we're taking steps to make sure it ends up in a recycling container instead of a landfill.
