So what does organic really mean when it comes to Galaxy’s family of brands?

First, organic farming restricts the use of synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides and fungicides. For organic dairy, cows are fed a certified organic vegetarian diet, and there are no antibiotics or growth hormones used in raising the cattle. This not only keeps these chemicals from entering our bodies when we eat organically farmed goods, it keeps them from being absorbed into the soil and from running off into our rivers and streams.

We are working every day to ensure every ingredient used in our products is organic. All of our Wholesome Valley Organic brand cheese products are certified organic.

Additionally, we are working towards including organic ingredients in our other products. This transition started with the improved organic rice base in our Rice brand cheese alternatives. The change was so well received that we plan on making similar improvements to our other cheese alternative products.
