Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network

Galaxy Nutritional Foods joined forces with the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) to help raise awareness for the millions of people diagnosed with food allergies. For the first time, Galaxy is a 2011 national multi-site silver sponsor of the FAAN Walk for Food Allergy, which takes place in more than 40 locations across the country.

In addition to providing individuals with food allergies and their families an opportunity to come together as a community, the Walks help raise funds for food allergy awareness, advocacy, education, and research programs. Each event is a resource for the food allergy community to learn and taste new allergy-friendly products like ours. This past year, we sampled our award-winning, dairy-free Veggie Cream Cheese Alternative at the following Walk locations:

• Houston – September 10, 2011
• Chicago – September 17, 2011
• Boston – September 25, 2011
• Atlanta – October 1, 2011
• California Bay Area – October 8, 2011
