2 slices marinated tempeh, sliced very thin, or tempeh bacon
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 slices whole grain rye bread
1 slice Veggie Slices Swiss Flavor (or simply substitute the Veggie Slices with your favorite Galaxy product)
Thousand island dressing or mustard
Heat the olive oil in medium frying pan over medium heat. Brown the tempeh slices on both sides. Remove the tempeh and place on a paper towel.
Begin making the sandwich by spreading a thin layer of 1000 island dressing or whole grain mustard on a slice of bread. Next, layer the slice of Veggie® Swiss on the bread, followed by the slices of tempeh and sauerkraut. Place the last piece of bread on top and press in the Panini maker until hot all the way through. Serve hot.
